In August, 2010, Caucasian Institute of Economic and Social Research, with the support of Open Society-Georgia commenced the implementation of the Project: “Development of Rules and Minimum Required Regulations in the Sphere of Local Self-government Services".

In June-July of the current year, Caucasian Institute of Economic and Social Research conducted corporate training-seminars for the personnel of “United Water Supply Company of Georgia” on the topic: “Administration of State Procurements”.

The training was leaded by the expert-analyst of Caucasian Institute of Economic and Social Research, Doctor of Economy, Shalva Julakidze.

With the financial support of German society for technical cooperation (GTZ) Caucasus University for economic and social research launched the new project called “Cooperation of public sector in the south Caucasus, dialogue and perspectives of regional development” in June, 2010.  

Memorandum on cooperation between news agency “Pirveli” and Caucasus institute for economic and social research has been signed. Within the Memorandum parties will plan and implement the projects which will provide efficient operation of democratic institutions.

Caucasian Institute for Economic and Social Research on request of The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Inc. (Jerusalem, Israel) conducted a Sampling social survey of Jewish families in Tbilisi.

Special questionnaires were designed for the survey. The interviewers visited the Jewish families in their houses. Interviewers took preliminary training course and simulation (demonstrative) survey.

In the training center of Caucasian Institute for Economic and Social Research, training course in modern management, managerial skills and management of organizational resources was held starting March 1 through march 2, 2010.
